Love Story: I Would Marry You Right Now

My dear Danny,

I am so sickeningly in LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You make my blood run faster and my heart beat faster.  I am just beside myself.  It is the most beautiful feeling in the world.  I feel like I am shaking inside all over.

Oh man, I am just ACHING FOR YOU !!!!!!!!!

Danny, how do you do it???  I know I always ask you that.  But really, I am just shocked that a man could so precisely be attractive to me in every way that matters.

And I am just in heaven with the way you speak to me.  Thank you for all the many compliments that you give so freely.  They really do mean so much.  You have no idea.  I’ve never experienced this outpouring of love.

You know why I love you so much?  Because not only are you everything I have ever dreamed of in my most pipe dream fantasies, but you truly appreciate the kind of woman that I am & want to be.  It means SO much to see that we value the same things.  It reminds me of something a very wise woman told me… she said that in order to recognize something good, you have to know it yourself.  For example, a highly distinguished musician could play for someone, but unless the recipient is also a trained musician, the person may not know or recognize exactly how great the performance is.  Anyway, I see us recognizing in each other the most important things…and I LOVE IT.  I love it that at this point we both know enough that we know what makes a good man or a good woman.  How lucky are we???  I feel so, so blessed to be able to choose a companion from this state of life, with my very revived spirit, a new set of eyes, and knowledge of what is important!!   ahhhhh……….I feel so lucky.

Danny, you know what I can’t stop thinking?  I would marry you right now.  haha.  I don’t care if our first meeting doesn’t set off the fireworks we are anticipating.  I will spend time emailing you and visiting you and getting to know you more and more as we try to explore the possibilities.  I will give this everything.  Thank you for also being willing to give this some time, if need be!  There is just WAY, WAY, WAY too much good here.  I just couldn’t pass this up quickly… if you will have me, that is.   And, as always, if for whatever reason, it just isn’t meant to be…. well…….THAT WILL BE OK!!!!!  I will accept it.  I will be OK.  And I will still just admire you & respect you for the man that you are.  No matter what the outcome, I really feel there is a reason that we have come together.  Already the blessings have been overflowing.  So even if this was just for a few weeks of the brightest, most exhilarating hope in the world, I will not regret one drop of this !!!!!!!!  Overall, I just KNOW that whatever happens will be MEANT to be!!!!  I believe that completely.

Oh, i just LOVE you.  And fireworks????  Um, I have NEVER had so many fireworks with a guy.  Ever.  And it’s cause this time I really know what I am attracted to…and I know who I am…. it’s just different than any bit of random giddiness I have ever felt in the past.  I just can’t wait to be in your presence.

And, DON’T BUY A VACUUM!!  🙂 You just might be adopting my Dyson very soon :).

With so very much love,

Dear Mara,

Yes, I truly love you.  Yes, I, too, would marry you right now!  Yes, I too have no fear because I know that in 4 short days I will love you more than I do now.  Yes, I am aching for you.  Yes, I’ve been staring at my screen waiting for a response from you.  Yes, we are of the same kind, and yes, this IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FEELING IN THE WORLD!!!  Your every word was written straight from my very heart and I love you for it.  I WANT YOUR DYSON, AND THE WOMAN THAT COMES WITH IT!!!!!

I’m getting ready for bed…my early morning seems to be catching up with me.  I almost fell asleep waiting for this most wonderful of responses.

I’m going to climb in bed, and go contemplate on how truly blessed I am.  Then I am going to pour out my soul in gratitude to God.  And then I will sleep with you in my heart and on my mind.  Will you please join me?

Hopelessly (and hopefully) yours,

Did your spouse have anything that you were particularly excited to marry into?  Danny, being the cook he is, had some killer kitchen items (pans, knives, etc.)  My kitchen got a major upgrade!

Wow- this gives me chills! My husband and I also had a quick/whirlwind romance- we agreed to marry after knowing each other 12 days. We knew it sounded crazy, but when you know, there's no mistaking that feeling. Can't wait to read more!

I love that you are only 4 days away from meeting! The first night I ever spoke to my boyfriend, he suggested driving up to meet me right away – after already having a 3 hour conversation. While we didn't actually meet for 3 more days, the anticipation and the build up is so amazing – and can definitely lead you to wonder if the sparks will still exist in real life! Even though I know how this ends, I cannot wait to hear about your first meeting and how amazing it was! Thank you for making my day, as always!

Sara – oh wow! So fun! Kinda cool that you had the 3 days of glorious anticipation. There is NOTHING like that! I love it!

I was so excited to marry into my husband schedule. I'm anything but consistently organized.

Since we are still in college, on days that he knows I'm going to forget everything, he packs my backpack and makes sure I have everything I need (Including lunch and chocolate). I feel so grateful to marry such a sweet husband, especially as I frantically run out the door.

Waiting for the next installment of "Love Story" is like waiting for new episodes of "Downton Abbey."
I'm dying, just DYING. I love reading a good, clean love story.

What I got with my husband was a fantastic sense of humor and a ridiculous amount of knowledge about computers/technology in general. They've both come in handy on multiple occasions. Especially that sense of humor.

Sandi – hahaha!! We are SO glad people are enjoying the letters. Oh man, I know I keep saying this, but they keep getting better…the letters the night before will blow your mind….

And yes, everyone needs to have a tech in the family!! And a comedian! Danny is both of those for me, too. 🙂

Although I'm not remarried yet….. If I do marry the man I'm dating, I would be most looking forward to sharing life with the most realistic, patient, healthy and loyal man.

For me, after being through everything I endured in my first marriage, these things are the killer upgrade! 🙂

But I do love that he has a preference for contemporary design and furnishings. My guess is we could make a sweet home together 😉

    Love reading your story…!!!!! 😉

This is just too sweet! And my vote is with Anon. I can't wait to hear what happens!

I joked with my husband before we got married that he was getting a really good deal on electronics. My parents stocked me up well with TV's and VCR's during my bachelorette days. They were my dowry. 🙂

Lisset – It's funny, but *I* can't wait to see what happens, too!! haha. It's been a long time since I've read through all our love letters so as we go along, I, too, can't wait to see what is revealed next in the letters. It has been so fun. Though I did sneak ahead and read the letters from the night before. HOLY CRUD. You guys are going to die. It was really exciting/thrilling!!!
